Terms of Use
ChangSoft Global Co., Ltd.
Published: 2026-11-04 · Effective: 2026-11-04
These Terms of Use set out the conditions for using the software products of ChangSoft Global Co., Ltd. ("Company") — BuilderHub-R, BuilderHub-C, REBO for Revit, BIM258-S and any other product the Company designates as covered by these Terms — and the Company's web services. Part 1 "General Terms" applies to all products. Part 2 "Product-Specific Terms" applies additionally to the product concerned. This English text is a translation; the Korean original prevails in case of any difference.
Part 1. General Terms
1. Acceptance
By installing a product, accepting the license agreement on the installation screen, or using a product or web service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the product.
If you accept on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you confirm that you have authority to bind that entity, and "you" means that entity.
2. Definitions
- "Product": installable software provided by the Company, including updates, installers, manuals and related documentation, and web services operated by the Company.
- "License Key": a unique key issued by the Company to activate a product.
- "License Certificate": a document issued by the Company or an Authorized Reseller (including an order, quotation or contract) stating the type, quantity and term of the license.
- "Trial": a license provided for a limited period for evaluation.
- "Authorized Reseller": a company that sells or supports the products in a specific country or region under a contract with the Company.
- "Third-Party Components": software components owned by third parties that are included in or provided with a product.
- "Output": models, reinforcement, quantities, reports, settings and other results you create using a product.
3. Order of Precedence
Where provisions conflict on the same matter, they apply in the following order:
- (1) a separate written agreement between you and the Company (or an Authorized Reseller);
- (2) the Part 2 Product-Specific Terms, including any product license agreement shown on the installation screen;
- (3) the Part 1 General Terms.
If you purchased through an Authorized Reseller, pricing, payment, refunds and technical support are governed by your agreement with that reseller.
4. License Grant
Subject to your compliance with these Terms and the License Certificate, the Company grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the product for your internal business purposes, within the quantity and term stated in the License Certificate.
The license model (per installation, concurrent use, etc.) is set out in the License Certificate and the Product-Specific Terms.
Products are licensed, not sold. All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved by the Company or its licensors.
5. Trials
Trials may be used only to evaluate the product and will be limited or stop working after the period notified by the Company. Trials are provided "as is", and the Company gives no warranty for commercial use of Output created with a Trial.
6. License Keys and Activation Data
You must keep License Keys secure and must not disclose or transfer them to any third party.
To activate and validate licenses, products may send device identification data (hardware identifiers, operating system information, IP address, etc.) and the License Key to the Company's license server (Cryptlex). This data is used only for license management and is handled under the Company's Privacy Policy.
7. Restrictions
Except as expressly permitted in these Terms, you may not, and may not allow any third party to:
- copy, modify, adapt or translate a product or its documentation, or create derivative works;
- disassemble, decompile or reverse engineer a product, or otherwise attempt to derive its source code, internal structure, ideas or algorithms, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law;
- rent, lease, sell, distribute, pledge, assign, sublicense or otherwise transfer rights in a product;
- provide a product on a time-sharing or service-bureau basis, or allow unlicensed third parties to use it;
- circumvent or disable license checks, or use a product beyond the quantity in the License Certificate;
- remove or alter copyright notices, trademarks or labels on a product or its documentation;
- use a product in violation of applicable law or the rights of others;
- use a product to develop, test or market a competing product or one with similar functions.
8. Intellectual Property and Trademarks
All intellectual property rights in the products and their documentation, including copyrights, patents and trademarks, belong to the Company or its licensors.
BuilderHub, REBO, BIM258 and the Company's logos and characters are trademarks or marks of the Company or its licensors and may not be used without the Company's written consent.
9. Output and Your Data
You own your Output and the data you enter.
Apart from the data described in Section 6 and in the Product-Specific Terms, the Company does not collect your models, Output or usage statistics.
If you provide models or files to the Company for technical support, the Company will use them only for that support and delete them when the support is completed.
10. Responsibility for Reviewing Output
The products are tools that perform reinforcement detailing, quantity take-off, checking and similar tasks based on the models, settings and standards you choose.
Before using Output for design approval, permit submission, fabrication, ordering or construction, you must have it reviewed by a qualified engineer. You are responsible for the use of Output and its consequences. The products do not replace structural calculation or structural safety review.
11. Updates and Support
The Company may provide updates during the license term, and these Terms apply to updates. The Company may change product functions or end support for certain functions or older versions, and will give prior notice before removing a core function during the license term.
The scope and method of technical support are set out in the License Certificate or as separately determined by the Company (or an Authorized Reseller).
12. Fees and Refunds
License fees and payment terms are set out in the quotation or separate agreement issued by the Company or an Authorized Reseller.
Except as otherwise provided in these Terms or a separate agreement, or where a refund is required by law, the Company does not refund license fees paid. No pro-rated reduction or refund is given for the remaining term if you stop using a product or the agreement is terminated.
13. Third-Party Components and Third-Party Software
Third-Party Components and their license terms are listed in the notice files installed with each product (such as ThirdPartyNotices). Third-Party Components are provided under their own license terms, which prevail over these Terms for those components. For open-source components, these Terms do not limit the rights granted to you by the applicable open-source license.
You may not use or distribute Third-Party Components separately from the product. Licensors of Third-Party Components may enforce the relevant provisions of these Terms directly against you with respect to their components.
Where a product works with third-party software such as Autodesk Revit, you must obtain a valid license for that software separately. Third-party software names are trademarks of their respective owners, and the Company's products are not made, endorsed or sponsored by those owners.
14. Feedback
If you give the Company comments, suggestions or improvement requests about a product, the Company may use them freely to improve its products without any obligation to you.
15. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the products and Third-Party Components are provided "as is", and the Company does not warrant that a product is fit for your particular purpose or will operate without errors or interruption.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company, its licensors and Authorized Resellers are not liable for indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages, loss of profits or loss of data arising from the use of or inability to use a product.
Where the Company is liable, its total cumulative liability is limited to one month's fee for the license to the product concerned (for licenses paid annually, one-twelfth of the annual fee). This section does not apply to damage caused by the Company's willful misconduct or gross negligence, or to liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
17. Termination
A license ends when the term stated in the License Certificate expires.
If you breach these Terms and fail to cure the breach within the period set by the Company, the Company may terminate the license and deactivate the License Key. The Company may terminate immediately for a breach of Section 7.
On termination you must stop using and delete the product. You may keep your Output. Sections 7, 8, 10, 13, 15, 16, 18 and 20 survive termination.
18. Export Control and U.S. Government End Users
The products are subject to the export control laws of the Republic of Korea, the United States and other relevant countries. You must comply with these laws and may not export a product in violation of them or use it for any prohibited purpose, including the development of weapons of mass destruction.
The products and documentation are "commercial items" as defined in 48 C.F.R. 2.101, and U.S. Government end users acquire only the rights set out in these Terms.
19. Changes to These Terms
The Company may change these Terms if (1) the change is in the general interest of users, or (2) the change does not conflict with the purpose of the agreement and is reasonable in light of the need for the change, the appropriateness of the changed content and other circumstances.
The Company will set the effective date of the changed Terms and announce the changes and effective date on this page or through the product at least 2 weeks in advance. Continued use of a product after the effective date means you accept the changes.
20. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. The Seoul Central District Court has exclusive jurisdiction in the first instance over any dispute relating to these Terms, unless otherwise provided in the Part 2 Product-Specific Terms or in your agreement with an Authorized Reseller.
These Terms were written in Korean. In case of any difference between a translation and the Korean original, the Korean original prevails.
21. Miscellaneous
If any provision of these Terms is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. You may not assign your position under these Terms without the Company's written consent. The Company is not liable for delays caused by events beyond its control, such as natural disasters, war, government action or telecommunication failures.
Part 2. Product-Specific Terms
A. BuilderHub-R · BuilderHub-C
BuilderHub-R is standalone Windows software and does not require Autodesk Revit to run. If you create or open Revit models with BuilderHub-C, you must obtain a Revit license separately.
If you purchased through an Authorized Reseller (for example in Japan), the License Certificate, license terms of use, pricing, refunds and technical support are as set by that reseller; all other matters are governed by these Terms.
If you purchased in Japan through an Authorized Reseller, these Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, and the competent court is as set out in that reseller's terms of use.
B. REBO for Revit
REBO for Revit is an add-in that runs in Autodesk Revit (2026 or 2027). You must obtain a valid Revit license separately. Autodesk and Revit are trademarks or registered trademarks of Autodesk, Inc. REBO is not made, endorsed or sponsored by Autodesk, Inc.
REBO is licensed on a concurrent-use (floating) basis. You may use as many concurrent sessions as the quantity in the License Certificate, and the seat is released automatically when REBO is closed.
REBO includes Telerik UI for WPF components of Progress Software Corporation. These components may not be distributed separately from REBO or used for software development. Portions Copyright (c) Progress Software Corporation and/or its subsidiaries or affiliates. All rights reserved.
The End User License Agreement (EULA) shown on the REBO installation screen forms part of these Product-Specific Terms.
C. BIM258-S
BIM258-S is standalone Windows software. License activation is performed through the license server described in Section 6.
Quantity reports and other formatted documents produced by BIM258-S are based on the model you enter. Before submitting them to employers, supervising consultants or authorities, you must carry out the review required by applicable law and contract (Section 10).
For BIM258-S, these Terms are governed by the laws of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, and any dispute relating to BIM258-S is resolved by the competent courts of Viet Nam.
D. Web Services
Web services operated by the Company (demos, viewers, checking services, etc.) are subject to these Terms together with the conditions of use and privacy policy shown in each service.
You must keep your account and access information secure and must not upload material you have no right to use. The Company may change or suspend all or part of a service where necessary for stable operation.
