ChangSoft Global at Archi Future 2026 — BuilderHub-R demos at the BnB Solutions booth
On October 23, 2026, we exhibited at Archi Future 2026 at TFT Hall in Ariake, Tokyo, together with BnB Solutions, our sales and operations partner in Japan. Archi Future is a Japanese event dedicated to architecture and IT, and this year's theme was “The Digital Tipping Point” (デジタルの臨界点). The event was organized by the Archi Future Executive Committee and supported by Japan's Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, among others. BuilderHub-R was shown at the BnB Solutions booth (Exhibition Hall B, E-29). The booth drew a large number of visitors, and interest in BuilderHub-R was high. Thank you to everyone who stopped by. At the booth, we introduced the product with four panels and a banner, ran demos on a monitor, and invited visitors to try the software themselves. BuilderHub-R takes a project from drawings to BIM with rebar. It builds a 3D structural frame from structural analysis data (ST-Bridge, SS7 CSV) or 2D CAD drawings, places rebar according to Japanese standard detailing rules (JIS), and then runs rebar clash review and quantity takeoff for each member. The message of the booth was to resolve the hidden uncertainty in rebar detailing in 3D. We will keep working with BnB Solutions to expand rebar automation in the Japanese market.

Kensetsu Tsushin Shimbun covers BnB Solutions' BuilderHub Modeling Support — structural BIM models, fast and precise
BuilderHub Modeling Support, the service launched by our Japanese joint venture partner BnB Solutions, was featured in the September 24, 2026 edition of Kensetsu Tsushin Shimbun, a Japanese construction trade daily. The article reports that the service automatically generates structural BIM models including rebar from RC structural drawing data (DWG), removing two barriers to BIM adoption: the effort of modeling work and the shortage of skilled staff. It runs on BuilderHub-R, developed by ChangSoft Global, which handles automatic generation and placement of rebar models through quantity takeoff in one flow. Complex reinforcement such as column-beam joints is shown in 3D, so clashes and construction issues that are hard to read from drawings alone can be reviewed in advance. Deliverables are supported in Revit. Three service types are offered by project. BASIC delivers BIM models built from structural drawings in a short time for buildings with mostly standard details; STANDARD adjusts rebar clash areas according to reinforcement standards; and CONSULTING has structural engineers propose solutions that rebar adjustment alone cannot resolve, delivering a clash-free model.

BuilderHub-R ver 26.3.0 released — exposed column bases, beam sleeves, and far more freedom in rebar editing
BuilderHub-R for Japan, version 26.3.0, is now released. The centrepiece of this version is the exposed column base. Geometry and specification data for off-the-shelf products (Base Pack, NC Base) are built in, so selecting a product places it directly in the model. Above all, clash checking now runs between the column base and the surrounding rebar — you see where the two actually collide before anyone pours concrete. RC column rebar at the base is supported, and the cover thickness below is calculated automatically by tracing the connection. Beam sleeves have been added, with sleeve reinforcement (H1–H7) and proprietary reinforcement products including MAX Webren, Diaren NS and Super Hari Z. Rebar editing now works at the node. Click a node — the pink dots — and bend or rotate to change the shape and angle of the bar; right-click to add a node and open the shape up further. A hide mode for selected bars has been added, development and splice can each have their length and method changed directly, and several bars can be merged into one. Clash checking and editing can be applied to selected members only. Pick them from the ribbon or by right-clicking a member — even on a large model you check just the part you care about. Also included: blinding and crushed-stone management under foundations, anchor plates on cantilevered ground beams, single-layer slab reinforcement, and overlapping built-up beams. BnB Solutions launches BuilderHub Modeling Support, an automated rebar BIM modeling service for RC structures
Our joint venture partner BnB Solutions Co., Ltd. launched BuilderHub Modeling Support in July 2026 — a service that automatically generates BIM models including rebar from structural drawing data (DWG) for reinforced concrete structures. Built on BuilderHub-R, developed by ChangSoft Global, it addresses the two barriers that have held back BIM adoption: the effort of modeling work and the shortage of skilled staff. Three service types — BASIC, STANDARD, and CONSULTING — are offered according to project difficulty, and deliverables are supported in Revit format. BnB Solutions hosts the RC building BIM “BuilderHub” feature seminar (Tokyo, Shibuya)
Our Japan JV partner BnB Solutions held a BuilderHub feature seminar at Shibuya Hikarie, Tokyo (Feb 24 / Mar 6 / Mar 11). The sessions covered auto-generation of detailed 3D rebar BIM models from 2D CAD data, structural-frame quantity takeoff, automatic detection of insufficient development length and rebar clashes, and conversion to Revit.

BuilderHub-R, a new standard for structural BIM, is released
BuilderHub-R has launched, adding rebar clash checking at junctions, detection of insufficient development length, and individual rebar editing on top of automatic 3D rebar modeling and quantity takeoff. Revit conversion is supported via BuilderHub-C.
