BuilderHub-R ver 26.3.0 released — exposed column bases, beam sleeves, and far more freedom in rebar editing

BuilderHub-R for Japan, version 26.3.0, is now released. The centrepiece of this version is the exposed column base. Geometry and specification data for off-the-shelf products (Base Pack, NC Base) are built in, so selecting a product places it directly in the model. Above all, clash checking now runs between the column base and the surrounding rebar — you see where the two actually collide before anyone pours concrete. RC column rebar at the base is supported, and the cover thickness below is calculated automatically by tracing the connection. Beam sleeves have been added, with sleeve reinforcement (H1–H7) and proprietary reinforcement products including MAX Webren, Diaren NS and Super Hari Z. Rebar editing now works at the node. Click a node — the pink dots — and bend or rotate to change the shape and angle of the bar; right-click to add a node and open the shape up further. A hide mode for selected bars has been added, development and splice can each have their length and method changed directly, and several bars can be merged into one. Clash checking and editing can be applied to selected members only. Pick them from the ribbon or by right-clicking a member — even on a large model you check just the part you care about. Also included: blinding and crushed-stone management under foundations, anchor plates on cantilevered ground beams, single-layer slab reinforcement, and overlapping built-up beams.
